Congress is congressing
Carnival of clowns
Enters the magicians
With playful saws of sound
Stumbling down the aisle
Is the ring leader in white
While the lions jump
Through delightful rings of fire
Let's bring on the fire
Let's get a little higher
Audience with palms to palm
Pray forgiveness thin
Woman falls from the wire high
Into a pool of sink or swim
Oh god of grind
On god of grind
How large your armies
How small their minds
Let's bring on the fire
Let's get a little higher
Split the vein
Divide the sun
Hear the rain
And watch them run
This is the moment
Of the fall
The big tent tumbles one and all
Oh how I long for this album in vinyl format! Such smoothness. Such warmth. Such execution. This music begs to be taken along and woven into memories. Everyone I’ve shared this album with has loved it. The music speaks far and wide. Shouting out to a fellow follower, Brian Lehmann, for his excellent taste in music. If not for him, I likely would have never stumbled upon this absolute gem! Plinchmo Larduktin
When I listened to Suspended, I was left intrigued, but as soon as I listened to Dark Horse a few days later, I knew I would *love* this. In retrospect it's perhaps a bit less atmospheric than their previous album, but the songs are much more varied and packed with surprises. My favourite song changes basically every other day. Definitely the best discovery I've made so far. I love this band. dan-rod
Gnarly punk rock from the Philadelphia duo is unhinged in the best way, an in-the-red sonic assault a la Motorhead/Stooges. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2024
